Dinner is served in the dining room Monday – Thursday from 6 p.m. and last orders are at 7:30.  Guests requiring dinner at the weekend should phone to see if we can serve and to make a reservation.  Our meals are freshly prepared using local produce wherever possible and are open to non-residents with prior booking.

Guests should tell us about any allergies/dietary requirements prior to arrival.

We are fully licenced selling a range of wines from Tanners Wine Merchants in Shrewsbury and a selection of locally produced ales from the Tatton Brewery in Knutsford.  We also have a selection of soft drinks and spirits.

Mild chilli prawns and avocado in a homemade Marie Rose sauce with a mixed salad
Goat cheese tartlet with pesto and cherry tomatoes V
Warmed smoked mackerel salad
Bruschetta with Parma ham and cherry tomatoes or tomatoes and avocado V

 

Mains 
30 day matured Aberdeen Angus ribeye steak with a choice of sauce – horseradish, homemade peppercorn, blue cheese – £16.95
Claret chicken with chestnut mushrooms, thyme, red currant jelly and topped with crispy lardons – £12.95
Green Thai vegetable curry – £12
Seabass as you like it – £14.95
Pasta carbonara V (with crispy lardons if desired) – £12

Main courses are served with either rice (white or brown), potatoes (new Cheshire), mashed or sautéed, and a selection of vegetables
