We have special events related to the incredible author Roald Dahl, and a lot of exciting information too! Plus, we are helping gain awareness for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, it’s a win-win situation in this fabulous trip.

Recently, a Knutsford Starlet has used her international fame to raise money and awareness for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust. 12 year-old Ruby Barnhill who has the leading role as Sophie in Steven Spielberg’s new adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic, The BFG, held a film premiere at The Curzon cinema on Thursday, July 21.

“The money raised will change the lives of so many very special children from our region and we really can’t thank them and everyone who attended enough.” The Barnhill’s relationship with the charity will continue as they are hoping that Sophie will be visiting them for their special Roald Dahl themed Fun Day next month to read to the children.

Ruby is also hoping to attend their annual Family Fun Day on Sunday, September 26th when she will be available to meet guests and discuss her amazing experience.

So, if you are a fan of the Road Dahl book and movie The BFG then this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
